Junction 26 off the M8 takes you to the Hillington Industrial Estate. While the residential area is wholly within Glasgow, the greater part of the industrial estate with the same name falls under the jurisdiction of neighbouring Renfrew, although for business purposes, the area uses a Glasgow postcode. There are many longstanding businesses located within the estate, whilst on the South side of the motorway, lies a collection of luxury car retailers and fast food outlets, with the Braehead Shopping Centre just around the corner.
